Bane is an enemy of Batman who used a chemical called Venom to make himself stronger. He has fought Superman on multiple occasions.
Superman: The Animated Series[]
In the episode Knight Time, Batman has disappeared and Superman disguises himself as Batman and takes his place while he's gone, Superman and Robin eventually find the hideout of Bane, Riddler and Mad Hatter, Superman crashes in on them and Bane injects himself with Venom and begins fighting Superman, eventually the Riddler traps him, and Bane begins to beat him up, and then throws a boulder on top of him, but Superman lifts it up and throws it across the room, Superman gets the upper hand and begins punching Bane, eventually, Bane falls unconscious and Superman pulls out his Venom tube.
The Batman[]
He is hired by Lex Luthor and Black Mask to defeat Superman along with Mr Freeze and Clayface, but he and his teammates are beaten by Batman and Superman together.
Superman ⁄ Batman: Public Enemies[]
He is one of the many villains trying to collect the bounty on Superman, but he is beaten by Batman and he cuts his Venom tube and knocks him down.
Injustice: Gods Among Us[]
He appears as a playable character in the game.
