Two men, Paul Martin and his assistant Dorn, are going to various shops, breaking small, inexpensive statues they find there, and sifting through the resulting debris. Though they're paying for the items and therefore not breaking the law, Lois Lane is suspicious and starts investigating with Clark Kent. Her instincts are correct, and Dorn and Martin catch wind of her investigation and abduct her. Now, Superman must uncover the truth and come to Lois's rescue.
