Jordan Kent is the son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane and twin brother of Jonathan Kent. He is a main character in the 2021 Superman TV series Superman & Lois. He is portrayed by Alex Garfin.
Biography[]
Jordan was born to Clark Kent and Lois Lane-Kent alongside his twin brother Jonathan. The two boys were named after their grandfathers, with Jordan being named after his biological grandfather Jor-El. For much of his life, Jordan struggled with social anxiety, in contrast to the more outgoing and athletic Jonathan.
Following the death of his Martha from a stroke, the Kents decided to move to Smallville and rejuvenate the family farm and find a way to help the struggling town. It was then that, following an accident that should've killed them and then a sudden burst of heat vision, the boys are told the truth about their father's frequent disappearances - he's actually Superman. The boys take this revelation hard, Jordan especially, who feels even more alienated from people with his heritage and abilities. Clark, determined to patch things up, takes Jordan on a trip to the Fortress of Solitude and introduces him to his namesake Jor-El and teaches him about his Kryptonian heritage.
