Krull was a lizard-like monster from the center of the Earth. He rose to the surface and attacked, where he battled Superman, Samson and Atlas. Samson sent him into space, where he crashed through an artificial satellite. Superman noticed his lungs bursting and rushed to save him. ("All-Star Superman")
