Powers and Abilities[]
These are the powers and abilities of a Normal Martian
Superhuman Strength - Martians possess incredible strength that rivals Kryptonians. They are able to cars, trucks, buses and more with little to no effort.
Superhuman Speed - Martians can run, react and move at astounding speeds. J'onn J'onzz demonstrated this ability when a car was going to hit Madame Xanadu and appeared as a blur to save her life.
Flight - Martians can fly at high velocities. As J'onn J'onzz showed that he flew from Mars to Earth in a short amount of time.
Telepathy - Martians can read the minds of anyone, as well as creating illusions and possessing people.
Nigh-Invulnerability - Martians has tough skin, making them nearly indestructible. They are capable of withstanding bullets, energy attacks and more.
Shape-Shifting - Martians can manipulate his biopolymers to shift his shape into something and/or someone else.
Heat Vision - Martians can generate immensely powerful beams of heat from their eyes.
Healing Factor - Martians can heal from any wounds. It showed that J'onzz J'onzz used his heat vision to cut off his arm and grow his entire body back.
X-Ray Vision - Like Kryptonians, Martians can see through any solid surface. (Ex: Walls, Ceilings, etc).
Martian Manhunter is a very talented Martian, so he possesses all of these abilities and more. The reason for this is currently unknown. It is possible that he inherited all of his abilities from his Father.
