Peroton 5 was a simple planet dominated by agriculture. It was conquered by Mongul after Superman forced him to flee his Warworld. This is one of the many planets visited by the Hank Henshaw probe, who learned of its history after bonding to one of the Peroton 5 natives, assuming his cybernetic humanoid form. After this Henshaw inhabited Mongul's spaceship, transforming into a large robot that forced Mongul into an alliance. His to plan was to turn Earth into a new Warworld, starting with Engine City built over the ruins of Coast City. Many of the Peroton 5 natives arrived here with the rest of Mongul's alien army.
