Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot is a Deadman story featured in Christmas with the Super-Heroes #2 that co-stars Supergirl. The story focuses on the aforementioned Deadman as he is lonely on Christmas, only to come across a mysterious woman who can see and interact with him, which only ghosts and mystic can do. The woman, who later reveals herself to be Kara, tells him that heroics is a worthwhile endeavor, even if it has its downs, because it helps countless people in many ways.
The story is noteworthy for being a posthumous appearance of Kara, following not only hear death in Crisis on Infinite Earths, but the destruction of Earth-Two, and would be her final "true" appearance until Many Happy Returns in 2003.
The story was written by Alan Brennert, with art by Dick Giordano, Tom McCraw, and Steve Hayne, and was edited by Mark Waid.
