Steve Lombard is the sports writer for the Daily Planet. To his coworkers, he comes across as arrogant and rude. He's especially unkind to Clark Kent.

Personality[]

Lombard is typically portrayed as a 'meathead' type, and has been described as a 'Neanderthal' by his coworkers. Despite his obnoxious nature, Lombard is nonetheless generally shown to be a talented reporter valued by Perry White. He is sometimes shown to have a good-heart under his abrasive attitude, and has a protective side that rarely shows up, such as when he tried to protect Clark from potential scam artists after he had lost his job.
