Superman is from a possible future continuity, as seen in The Dark Knight Returns, The Dark Knight Strikes Again, Superman: Year One, and All Star Batman and Robin. This world's Superman is effectively a government errand-boy who blindly follows the orders of his authorities without question after the Justice League of America disbanded.

Powers and Abilities[]
Superman possesses standard Kryptonian powers under a yellow sun. He is incredibly strong, fast and nigh invulnerable, and possesses the capability to fly. His eyes can emit bursts of heat, Superman can also inhale and expel large amounts of air with which blowing away or freezing a target.
His abilities come from Earth's low gravity and yellow sunlight absorbed by his body. If hit by a nuclear blast, he loses most of his solar energy, appears less muscular and becomes vulnerable to elements such as lightning. He can also absorb solar energy form sunflowers.
