A Superman Clone was created by Lex Luthor to replace Superman following his death at the hands of Doomsday. Unlike the real Superman, he was created to be loyal to Luthor. He was also physically abused by Luthor, leading him to become a strict and unreasonable supervillain. ("Superman: Doomsday")
