Young Justice

Young Justice is a DC Universe animated series that aired from 2011 to 2013 on Cartoon Networkand returned in 2019 on the DC Universe. The series established its own continuity separate from any previous series, creating its own reimagining of characters from DC Comics.

Premise

Based on the comic book of the same name, this series follows the adventures of the Justice League's sidekicks younger counterparts. The series begins prior to the formation of the Young Justice team, and details their first missions. The team works under the supervision of the Justice League, who have given the team one of their former bases to use as a headquarters.

Characters

The main cast consists of Superboy, Miss Martian, Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, and Artemis. Other characters from the Superman mythos include Jonathan Kent, Lex Luthor, Mercy Graves, Lori Lemaris, Catherine Grant, Toyman, Bibbo Bibbowski, Atomic Skull, Jimmy Olsen, Parasite, Mongul, and Guardian. Superman's Fortress of Solitude and The Daily Planet were also featured.
